January & Brandon Harshe (pronounced har-shē) used to sleep. When they started dating at 19. They still slept when they got married at 22. Sleep ended when they had their first child at 24. Six kids and a world of experience later, January and Brandon have heard that sleep is rad but can’t quite remember for themselves.
While January and Brandon are busy not sleeping, they run Birth Without Fear, do events around the world, homeschool six kids, and probably the most difficult of all, they are always in the kitchen, cooking and feeding endlessly hungry kids.
Once in a while when they don’t have to figure out breakfast, or second breakfast, or elevensies, or brunch, or lunch, or afternoon snack, or dinner, or second dinner for the kids, they like to do fun things. January likes to eat yummy vegan food and read sexy vampire novels. Brandon enjoys playing the guitar and lifting heavy weights. Sometimes, after the kids have eaten the last of their 17 daily meals and have gone to bed, January and Brandon watch shows or movies like Game of Thrones or Deadpool.
After two weeks of the worst pain I’ve ever had in my entire life, I’m pain free (no meds or surgery). 🙌🏼🎉 A lot of healing to go still but gonna celebrate that amazingness! 💓 P.S. sharing my journey is not judgement of your own journey. #nofilters #loveismyfilter #moretocome #youdoyouboo #loveyourselftohealth
End of year 1-rep max: part 2. Deadlift. 455 lbs. Grade = A-. Previous PR was 431 lbs. This was hard. I got it up, but it certainly felt like my lumbar spine rounded a bit more than it looks. And I don’t know what the rocking back on my heels was all about. Time to eat, rest, get adjusted, and put more balm on my new tattoo. 😂 #powerlifting #deadlift #deadlifts @selflovegeneration @bigtexgym
